Blogpost #2: Science Behind Love and Emotions

"Love" different people have different meanings for love some say Love hurts, some say love is sweet, and some say this is the most powerful feeling in the world. I've had my fair share of experience when talking about love had my ups and downs but all I can say is in Love nothing is impossible, because love can make you better or make you worse.

I had a research about science behind love and emotion, some of us believes that science explain everything. So I decided to research how science explain love and feelings.

According to The Science of Love by Helen Fisher of from University in the States Psychologists says that there are 90 second and 4 minutes to know that you deeply like someone. This article says that 55% on how a person falls in love is through body language, 38% from the tone and speed of the voice and 7% through what they say. I think that falling in love depends on what others would say words are very powerful and so is love. We don't need explanations and measurements in love because everything can happen nothing is impossible with love. This article also explains how a human falls in love what factors are responsible for having or feeling love. They say that there are three stages in love lust, attraction and attachment. This is what they say but from my own perspective I believe that love just happens it does not have any stages or steps needed it depends on the person on how or why he/she loves a person there is no scientific explanation for it.

According to Helen Fisher York “Psychologist, Professor Arthur Arun, has been studying why people fall in love. He asked his subjects to carry out the above 3 steps and found that many of his couples felt deeply attracted after the 34 minute experiment. Two of his subjects later got married.

In this statement Helen Fisher says that Professor Arthur Arun did an experiment about people how do they fall in love.  If two out of three of his subjects fell in love with each other his theory must be true but I don't think falling in live has specific conditions I think it depends upon the person if he or she will fall in love.

I also read about perspective of love and science the article entitled Your Brain in Love  by Mark Fischetti, clearly states that doctors have discovered that a person who feels love any kind of love produces certain chemicals. They have compared the MRI studies of those who are experiencing any kind of love and to those who don't. They may cure a person who is severely depressed by being heartbroken by changing the chemicals.
According to Mark Fischetti “Neuro transmitters and other chemicals in the brain and blood that prompt greater euphoric sensations such as attraction and pleasure.

In my own understanding neurotransmitters give the sensations or feelings we get when things happen such as sadness happiness and different kinds of emotions I agree to that because the brain first before the heart.
